I can't believe it's December! Where has the time gone! and I can't believe 'the most wonderful time of the year' is upon us...how very exciting - I LOVE Christmas! but I was somewhat apprehensive about celebrating Christmas here in Provo. I had heard the Island didn't do much in the way of decorations, but I have been proved wrong! The other night we took a few pics of the lights we have seen out on our travels just to prove that even though it's still as hot as our U.K Summer in the day right now...it is infact Winter here, and at night even starting to feel a little festive! The picture above is the biggest Christmas tree on the Island, it's just outside of Seven Stars hotel and it is on the road we drive to town so we see it every night on our way home!
These lights are in the tourist/hotel area of Grace Bay. I love the fact there are Palm trees and Christmas lights in the same shot here!
I like these beaded lights wrapped around the trunks!
and a little bit of Santa thrown in for fun too! There may not be snow on the ground and we certainly don't stop in for hot chocolate when we're out and about (it's more like ice cream and milkshakes!) but it's certainly beginning to look alot like Christmas and I love it!
Ahhh cute...but somehow they don't rival that house in St.Albans!
